Ringwood Supplement Guide: Local Trails, Tracks and Where to Shop

Table of Contents

If you live, work or train in Ringwood, Supps247 Ringwood is a supplement store you can walk into on Maroondah Highway, and the full range is online for the days a visit does not fit. This guide is for people in Ringwood and the suburbs around it, including Ringwood East, Heathmont, Warranwood, Croydon and Mitcham.

There are two easy ways to shop with us. Come in and talk through your options with the team, or order online and have it delivered anywhere in Australia or held at the Ringwood counter. Below: what a visit is good for, how online orders work, six places Ringwood people train, and common questions.

    Visit Supps247 Ringwood in store

You will find us at 135 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood, a short walk west of Ringwood station. That makes the store an easy stop if you commute by train or bus, or if you are already out on the highway.

Coming in is the quickest way to work out what actually suits you. In store you can:

    • ask the team to go through a label with you, from protein per scoop to added sugar or caffeine per serve
    • work out the cost per serve of a small tub against a bigger bag, which is often more useful than the sticker price
    • see brands side by side on the shelf, including different flavours and sizes of the same product
    • ask about a price match if you are a Supps247 member, using the rules on our price match page

Hours and directions change from time to time, so check the Ringwood store page before you head over.

    Order online from Ringwood

Not everyone can get to the highway during trading hours, so the whole range is also on the website. Delivery is Australia-wide and usually takes 2 to 8 business days, with free shipping on orders of $99.99 or more. You can pay with Afterpay, and the shipping and returns page covers the fine print.

Prefer to grab it yourself? Choose Supps247 Ringwood as your pick-up store at checkout. Click and collect orders here are usually ready within 24 hours, and this page explains how pick-up works. If you will be somewhere else that day, the Supps247 store finder lists every other location, with Chirnside Park the nearest to Ringwood.

    Training around Ringwood

Ringwood has a council aquatic centre, a public athletics track and several trails that meet in or near the suburb. Here are six local spots and what, if anything, is worth packing for each.

    Aquanation

Maroondah's council-run aquatic and fitness centre is at 37 Greenwood Avenue, with a 10 lane pool, a large gym and three group fitness rooms. Council renewal works close the pools, spa, sauna and waterslide from October 2026 to February 2027, while the Health Club and group fitness studios stay open, so check before you go. If you lift there, protein after training and a daily scoop of creatine are the usual starting points.

    AC Robertson Athletics Track

In Proclamation Park on Sylvia Grove, this synthetic track has eight lanes on the bend and ten on the straight, and the public can use it whenever it is not booked. It is home to Ringwood Athletic Club and Ringwood Little Athletics Centre. Creatine is well researched for short, repeated sprint efforts, which suits track work, but Little Athletics members are kids, and anyone under 18 should talk to a GP before using supplements.

    Ringwood Lake Park

Also on Maroondah Highway, at number 172, this 8.5 hectare park has a lake, bushland and a walking circuit of about 1.1 km that Victoria Walks has audited as accessible. An easy lap the day after a heavy session is a nice way to keep moving, and it needs nothing more than a water bottle.

    Mullum Mullum Creek Trail

This shared walking and cycling path runs about 5.5 km from the EastLink Trail at Sherbrook Park through to Highland Avenue in Croydon, with picnic spots along the creek. If you turn it into a longer run or ride on a hot day, an electrolyte drink can help replace some of the salt you lose in sweat. For a short walk, plain water is enough.

Box Hill to Ringwood Rail Trail

This trail follows the Lilydale and Belgrave rail lines for about 10 km and finishes at Ringwood station, so it is a handy way to ride between Box Hill and Ringwood. Parts of the route are still incomplete, so check the map first. Riders who use it to get to work often keep a protein bar or a ready-to-drink shake in their bag for the trip home.

    Ringwood Football Club

The Redbacks play in the Eastern Football Netball League, with Jubilee Park in Ringwood listed as their home ground. Footy pre-season is a common time to look at protein and creatine. If you use a pre-workout before training, check the caffeine per scoop and count your coffees as well.

What Ringwood shoppers ask us about

Most questions at the Ringwood counter fall into a few groups:

    • Creatine: which form to buy and how much to take. Monohydrate is the most studied form, and our creatine guide compares the options.
    • Pre-workout: stimulant or stim-free, and how much caffeine is in a serve. The pre-workout guide walks through it.
    • Electrolytes: mostly from runners and riders heading out on the trails in summer. See the electrolytes guide.
    • Protein powder: whey, isolate or plant-based. Browse the full range of protein powders.

Food comes first, and supplements only fill the gaps. If you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication or have a medical condition, check with your GP or pharmacist before you start anything new. For more on pre-workouts in particular, our earlier post on buying pre-workout in Ringwood goes into more detail.

    Ringwood FAQs

At Supps247 Ringwood, 135 Maroondah Hwy, a short walk west of Ringwood station. If you cannot get in, order protein online for delivery, or choose the Ringwood store for pick-up at checkout.

Yes. Add your items on the website, choose Supps247 Ringwood as the pick-up store at checkout, and your order is usually ready within 24 hours. What should I take on a long ride along the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail?

Start with water and a decent meal or snack beforehand. For a long ride or run in warm weather, many people add an electrolyte drink to replace some of the sodium lost in sweat, plus an easy carb snack if they are out for more than an hour. A protein shake afterwards is optional, and is simply a convenient way to reach your daily protein.
