If you live, work or train in Reservoir, this guide is for you. Supps247 Reservoir is a supplement store on Plenty Road, and this post looks past the shelves to the parks, trails and pools nearby. It is just as useful if you are based in Kingsbury, Bundoora, Preston, Thomastown, Lalor or Heidelberg West.
There are two simple ways to shop with us. Walk in to Summerhill Shopping Centre and talk to the team, or order on the website for delivery or pickup.
Visit Supps247 Reservoir at Summerhill
You will find us at Shop 21A/850 Plenty Rd, Reservoir, inside Summerhill Shopping Centre. Coming from Darebin parkrun? C T Barling Reserve is listed at 880 Plenty Road, so it is the same road from the finish line to our door.
A few things worth doing while you are here:
- Bring the label of the tub you use now and line it up against two or three others on the shelf.
- Ask which flavours are open to try that day. At Reservoir you can taste before you buy, and the choice changes from day to day.
- Have the team help you work out the cost per serve, because a bigger tub is not always the better buy.
- Supps247 members can bring a listed competitor's current full price and ask about our member price match.
Our guide to choosing protein and pre-workout in store explains label reading, and the Supps247 Reservoir store page covers getting there by car or tram.
Order online from Reservoir and nearby suburbs

Click and collect sits in the middle. Order online, choose Supps247 Reservoir as your pickup store, and your order is usually ready within 1 hour. Here is how pickup works. Closer to another of our shops? The Supps247 store finder lists every location.
Training around Reservoir: local spots worth knowing
Public places where locals run, walk, swim and play, with an honest view of what helps.
C T Barling Reserve: Darebin parkrun and the ovals
Darebin parkrun is a free, weekly 5 km timed event held every Saturday morning at C T Barling Reserve. Register once online before your first run and bring your barcode, or you will not get a time. For 5 km, water and a normal breakfast are plenty for most people. If you like a coffee or pre-workout first, keep it modest and count all your caffeine for the day.
Darebin Council describes the same reserve as a hub for organised sport, with three ovals, a cricket pitch and links to the Darebin Creek paths. If you train there for footy or cricket, start with the basics: enough food across the day and protein spread over your meals, with a shake as a handy top-up. Creatine monohydrate is one of the most studied options for repeated sprint efforts in adults. Players under 18 should stick with food and talk to a GP before trying supplements.
Bundoora Park
Further out along Plenty Road, Bundoora Park has a walking circuit of about 6.2 km on park roads, tracks and paths, according to Bushwalking Victoria, with some uneven and uphill sections. The same source notes limited shade in summer, so carry water on warm days. On a long, hot walk or run, an electrolyte drink can help replace the fluid and sodium you sweat out. Bushwalking Victoria lists tram route 86, stop 61.
Edwardes Lake Park
The lakeside loop at Edwardes Lake Park, off Griffiths Street, is about 1.87 km on a sealed, smooth path that Walking Maps rates as very easy. There are drinking fountains, seats and plenty of tree shade. It is a good place for a recovery walk or a first step back into exercise, and you do not need any supplement for it. Water does the job.
Reservoir Leisure Centre
Listed by Darebin Council at 2A Cuthbert Road, Reservoir Leisure Centre has an indoor pool and a gym. Swimmers often forget they still sweat in a warm indoor pool, so keep a bottle on the pool deck. After a gym session, a protein shake is a simple way to reach your daily protein when meals fall short.
Darebin Creek Trail
The Darebin Creek Trail is a shared walking and cycling path of about 25 km, split into northern and southern sections by the Western Ring Road. The southern section runs past Bundoora Park. On long rides, carbohydrate and fluid matter more than protein while you are moving, so think a sports drink or electrolytes plus a snack, then a proper meal once you are home.
What Reservoir customers ask us about
Around Summerhill, most questions fall into a few groups:
- Protein powder. Whey, isolate or plant. Start with our protein powder guide.
- Creatine. Usually plain creatine monohydrate and how much to take. See our creatine guide.
- Electrolytes. Asked about more once the weather warms up. Compare options in the electrolytes guide.
- Pre-workout and vitamins. Check the caffeine per serve before you try a pre-workout. With vitamins, food comes first, and a GP or pharmacist can tell you whether you need one at all.
If you are pregnant, under 18, take medication or live with a medical condition, check with a GP or pharmacist before you start any supplement.
Reservoir questions, answered
Is there a supplement store near Darebin parkrun?
Yes. Supps247 Reservoir is at Shop 21A/850 Plenty Rd, inside Summerhill Shopping Centre, and Darebin parkrun is held at C T Barling Reserve, 880 Plenty Road. Both sit on Plenty Road in Reservoir, so it is an easy stop after a Saturday run. Check the store page for trading times before you head over, as they can change on public holidays.
Can I taste a protein flavour before buying in Reservoir?
Yes. At Supps247 Reservoir you can taste before you buy. The flavours open to try change from day to day, so ask the team what is available when you call in. It is worth doing before you commit to a large tub, especially if you plan to mix your shakes with water rather than milk.
How quickly is a click and collect order ready at Summerhill?
Online orders for pickup at Supps247 Reservoir are usually ready within 1 hour. Place the order on the website, choose Reservoir as your pickup store and bring your order number to the counter. Only items in stock at Reservoir can be collected there, so check the product page first if you need one particular flavour or size.
Do you deliver to Reservoir 3073, Kingsbury and Bundoora?
Yes. We deliver Australia-wide, including Reservoir 3073 and neighbouring suburbs such as Kingsbury, Bundoora, Preston and Thomastown. Delivery usually takes 2 to 8 business days, and orders of $99.99 or more ship free. Afterpay is offered at checkout. If you would rather not wait, collecting from Summerhill is usually the quicker option.
Do I need electrolytes for a run or ride on the Darebin Creek Trail?
For a short run on a mild day, plain water is usually enough. Electrolytes become more useful on long or hot sessions, when you lose more fluid and sodium through sweat, such as a long ride along the trail or a summer lap of Bundoora Park. Check the label for sodium per serve, and if you have a heart or kidney condition or take medication, ask your GP first.
