Beast Labs Nutrition is a range of mostly single-ingredient supplements, and the products most worth buying are its creatine, ISO-Fusion whey and magnesium bi-glycinate, which combine solid evidence with low cost per serve. Its herbal and specialised products, such as tongkat ali, turkesterone and TUDCA, are more niche and have much weaker research behind them.
The Australian supplement market is full of underdosed blends and trendy marketing. Beast Labs stands out by keeping things simple: focused formulas with the dose of each ingredient clearly shown on the label, and no unnecessary fillers. At Supps247 we stock the Beast Labs range across muscle growth, fat loss, stress, sleep and recovery. If you're looking for a complete guide to Beast Labs supplements in Australia, here is what each product is, what the research says and which ones give you the most for your money.

Muscle growth, strength and protein
Creatine Monohydrate
If you only buy one Beast Labs product, make it this. Beast Labs Creatine Monohydrate is one of our best-selling Beast Labs products over the last six months, and it is simply 5 g of micronised creatine monohydrate per serve, 50 serves a tub, at about $0.40 a serve. Creatine is one of the most researched supplements for strength and muscle. The International Society of Sports Nutrition says it is the most effective supplement available for increasing high-intensity exercise capacity and lean mass during training. Compare it with other options in our best creatine guide.
When to take: any time of day, every day. Consistency matters more than timing.
ISO-Fusion Whey Protein
ISO-Fusion Whey is a blend of whey isolate, hydrolysate and concentrate with 24 g of protein, 2.7 g of carbs and 0.9 g of fat per two-scoop serve (Mango Madness), with 2,580 mg of leucine. Protein powder is a convenient way to reach your daily target; the ISSN suggests 1.4 to 2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight a day for most people who train.
When to take: after training, or any time your daily protein intake is low.
Tongkat Ali 500mg
Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) is a herbal extract, 500 mg of a 200:1 extract per capsule, marketed for men's energy and hormone health. Research in healthy, active men is limited and the results are mixed, so any effect is uncertain. It is not for anyone under 18.
Turkesterone 600mg
Turkesterone has gained a lot of attention among natural lifters. Each capsule has 600 mg of Ajuga turkestanica extract standardised to 60 mg of turkesterone. Despite the hype, there are very few published human trials on turkesterone itself, so we can't point to good evidence that it builds muscle. If you compete in tested sport, check with your sporting body first, as related compounds (ecdysteroids) are being monitored by anti-doping authorities.
Fat loss and metabolic support
Acetyl L-Carnitine
Acetyl L-Carnitine ($39.95 for 100 g) is a form of L-carnitine, which helps transport fatty acids into mitochondria to be used for energy. Most people make enough carnitine on their own, and evidence that extra carnitine speeds up fat loss in healthy, active people is weak. See our L-carnitine range for other forms.
CLA
Beast Labs CLA is a stimulant-free capsule with 2,000 mg of CLA powder and 250 mg of white kidney bean extract per serve. A 2007 review of 18 studies found CLA at about 3.2 g a day led to fat loss of only around 0.09 kg a week compared with placebo. That is a small effect, so think of CLA as a minor extra to a calorie deficit and training, not a driver of results.
Berberine HCL 1200mg
Beast Labs Berberine gives 1,200 mg of berberine HCl per two-capsule serve. Berberine has been studied mainly in people with type 2 diabetes, where a 2012 review of 14 small, generally low-quality trials found improvements in blood glucose with lifestyle changes. There is little research in healthy lifters. Berberine can interact with many medicines and is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. These are research findings, not a reason to use berberine instead of medical care: anyone with a blood sugar condition must manage it with their doctor. Read more in our berberine guide.
Stress, sleep and recovery
Ashwagandha 600mg
Beast Labs Ashwagandha gives 600 mg of extract standardised to 5% withanolides per capsule. Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb. In a 2019 trial of 60 stressed adults, 250 mg or 600 mg a day for eight weeks lowered perceived stress and morning cortisol and improved sleep quality compared with placebo. Studies are small, but this is one of the better-supported herbs in the range.
When to take: once a day, morning or evening, with food.
Magnesium Bi-Glycinate
Magnesium is involved in hundreds of enzyme reactions, including normal muscle and nerve function. Beast Labs Magnesium Bi-Glycinate gives 150 mg of elemental magnesium per capsule from 750 mg of magnesium bi-glycinate, at about $0.50 a serve. That keeps you well under the 350 mg a day upper limit for magnesium from supplements set in the Australian Nutrient Reference Values. It is good value if your diet is low in magnesium-rich foods. Learn more in our magnesium guide.
When to take: evening, with food.
Liver support: TUDCA
Beast Labs TUDCA gives 250 mg of tauroursodeoxycholic acid per capsule, 60 serves a bottle. TUDCA is a bile acid that is popular in performance communities, but most research on it is in people with medical liver conditions, not healthy lifters. If you are worried about your liver, see your GP for a check-up rather than relying on a supplement.
Smart stacks and who should use Beast Labs
These combinations let you tailor your routine to your training phase:
- Lean muscle growth: Creatine Monohydrate and ISO-Fusion Whey.
- Cutting and body recomposition: Creatine and ISO-Fusion Whey to protect muscle in a deficit, with CLA as an optional small extra.
- Stress and sleep: Ashwagandha and Magnesium Bi-Glycinate.
Beast Labs products suit gym-goers, strength athletes and bodybuilders who want simple, clearly dosed single-ingredient formulas. They are not recommended for anyone under 18, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you have a medical condition (including liver or blood glucose concerns) or take medication, talk to your GP or pharmacist before using tongkat ali, turkesterone, TUDCA, ashwagandha or berberine.
Final verdict: which Beast Labs products are worth buying?
If you're looking for clearly labelled, single-purpose supplements in Australia, Beast Labs delivers good value on the basics. Our pick is Beast Labs Creatine Monohydrate first, then ISO-Fusion Whey if you struggle to hit your protein target, and Magnesium Bi-Glycinate if your diet is low in magnesium. Ashwagandha is a reasonable option for stress and sleep. The specialised products are a personal choice, so keep your expectations realistic.

FAQs
Is Beast Labs Nutrition a good brand?
Beast Labs Nutrition makes mostly single-ingredient supplements with the dose of each ingredient shown on the label, and several labels state they are made in Australia from imported ingredients. Its creatine, whey and magnesium are good-value basics. Some of its herbal and specialised products have limited research behind them, so judge each product on its own evidence rather than the brand.
What is the best Beast Labs product?
Beast Labs Creatine Monohydrate is one of our best-selling Beast Labs products over the last six months and the best-supported by research. It gives 5 g of micronised creatine per serve with 50 serves in the 250 g tub. Creatine is one of the most researched supplements for strength and lean muscle when combined with resistance training.
Is Beast Labs made in Australia?
Several Beast Labs labels, including Ashwagandha 600mg and Tongkat Ali 500mg, state they are made in Australia from imported ingredients. Check the label of the specific product you are buying for its country of manufacture, as this can vary across the range.
Does turkesterone work?
There is very little published human research on turkesterone itself, so there is no good evidence yet that it builds muscle or strength. Most of the hype comes from older animal studies and online marketing. If you compete in drug-tested sport, check with your sporting body first, and talk to your GP if you have a medical condition or take medication.
Can I take Beast Labs ashwagandha and magnesium together?
For most healthy adults, yes. They are often used together in the evening for stress and sleep support, and they work in different ways. Stick to the label dose of each. If you take medication for thyroid, mood, blood pressure or blood glucose, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your GP or pharmacist before using ashwagandha.
