FAQs

Is the creatine in Jetmass a full dose?

Yes. Each scoop has 5 g of Creapure creatine monohydrate. A US National Institutes of Health review describes a maintenance intake of 3 to 5 g a day after an optional loading phase, and the AIS lists creatine as a Group A supplement for specific sports situations.

Does the beta-alanine make a difference?

Probably not much on its own. Each scoop has 100 mg of beta-alanine, while the NIH review describes studied intakes of 1.6 to 6.4 g a day. It is a minor extra here; the main active ingredient is the 5 g of creatine.

Why does it contain carbohydrate?

Each scoop provides 13 g of carbohydrate from maltodextrin, dextrose and waxy maize, which adds about 60 Calories. If you are tracking carbohydrate closely, a plain creatine monohydrate gives you the same 5 g of creatine without the added carbohydrate.

Will creatine make me gain weight?

It can. The NIH review notes that weight gain from water retention is the most consistent side effect of creatine. The same review says creatine is considered safe for short-term use by healthy adults.
