NOW Methyl Folate 1,000 mcg provides 1,000 mcg of folate as Quatrefolic®, the glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), in each tablet. Methylfolate is the metabolically active form of folate, so the body does not need to convert it the way it does folic acid. The bottle holds 90 tablets, a three month supply at one a day.

Not manufactured with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, egg, fish, shellfish or tree nut ingredients. Made in a GMP facility that processes other ingredients containing these allergens.
How to use
Take 1 tablet daily with a meal.
Good to know
- For adults only.
- High-dose folate can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency. The elderly and anyone with a condition that may affect B12 absorption should have their B12 checked regularly while taking it.
- Talk to your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication (especially phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone or methotrexate), or have a medical condition, especially one involving nutrient malabsorption.
