FAQs
How many serves are in the 2 lb and 5 lb tubs?
The 2 lb tub holds 910 g and is labelled 28 serves (Milk Chocolate label). The 5 lb tub holds 2.27 kg and is labelled 71 serves of Chocolate Fudge, based on a 32 g scoop. Scoop weights vary a little between flavours, so check the count on your tub.
Does it contain sugar?
The Chocolate Fudge panel lists 0 g of total sugars and 3 g of carbohydrate per 32 g scoop. Sweetness comes from sucralose and acesulfame potassium rather than added sugar, which keeps each shake at about 120 Calories.
Can I mix it with milk?
Yes. Rule 1's directions mention cold water, milk or your favourite drink. Water keeps the shake to the values in the panel, while milk adds its own energy, protein, carbohydrate and fat, so count that in if you are tracking intake.
When should I take it?
Rule 1 suggests straight after training, between meals or in the evening. Total daily protein matters more than exact timing. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements cites 1.2 to 2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight a day for athletes, and one scoop gives 25 g toward that.
Label details checked against Rule One Proteins Australia on 9 October 2026. Formulas can change, so always check the label on the product you buy.
Always read the label and follow the directions for use.
