Jayilian was born in Lebanon and came to Australia as a young boy. He was bullied at school because he struggled to speak English. This led him to take up kickboxing, which he did for 12 years until quitting to satisfy his parents who were worried he’d get hurt. Jayilian joined a gym in 2005, discovered bodybuilding and won a string of state and national titles, including the pinnacle, victory in the world-renowned Arnold Classic.
So…you thought Paul Jayilian is “only a body-builder”…..well, think again.
